one of our most loved designs — the mallin vest — is reimagined this season with a playful twist: the cashmere sparkle tie vest.

we were so excited when we found this incredible sparkly cashmere knit jersey from our japanese fabric supplier. it has an incredibly soft, fluffy cream side and a slightly darker side where you can see little sparkles which catch beautifully in the light.

this little waistcoat is a similar cropped relaxed fit to the mallin vest, but with a rounded front which ties with two silk ribbon ties. the sparkle tie vest can be worn over a dress for some extra warmth at winter parties, and also looks great over a slash neck tee, a shirt, or your favourite graphic tee. it is a super easy way to add some beauty to any outfit.

the sparkly tie body warmer is cropped to the waist. rather than adding a lining we have used a silk bound edge, as both sides of this fabric are so incredibly special. we haven’t made it to be reversible, however you could easily wear it both ways round if you unpicked the sula label at the neck.

we have been thinking recently about what a special feeling it is to have beautiful clothing details which only you know are there — for example, whichever way you choose to wear this little body warmer, there is a side hidden from the world which you know is there, just for you.
