i have always used colour as the absolute starting point for designing a sula collection.

my friend last week told me, you are a tetrachromat. i had to check what it meant, and put simply, most people are trichromatic, this means they have three different types of cones in their eyes. a tetrachromat has 4 different colour perception channels. so apparently trichromats can see 1 million different colours, whereas a tetrachromat can see 100 million colours.

colours affect our moods, and the way we express that every day in what we choose to wear is interesting to me. i have always loved to add pinks and yellows to sula collections. this season (ss21) the colours i am drawn to are quiet and unassuming. tap shoe black, ink, ivory with bright washday white.
